Diagnostic Medical Coder (will need to work ON SITE)

Location is @ Philadelphia Hospital 


Responsible for assigning ICD-9-CM diagnostic and procedural codes to patient accounts.




· Assign appropriate codes using International Classification of Disease system (ICD-9) and/or Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) for diagnosis, procedures and services.


· Responsible for correctly coding claims based on the services a patient receives in order to obtain reimbursement from insurance or government healthcare programs.


· Read and analyze patient records extracting precise information from documentation, test results and reports.


· Request diagnosis from physicians when not recorded on discharge and in cases where information is incomplete.


· Maintain confidentiality regarding patient care information and chart contents.


· Inform administrator of any incongruousness noted in the chart record.


· When appropriate clarify diagnosis, conditions and treatment information by working with the physician according to company policy and procedure.


· Process physician reports needed to code appropriately and accurately.




· High school diploma or equivalent required.


· Certificate or associate’s degree in medical coding or related field preferred.


· Two or more years’ of medical billing/collections/coding preferred.


· Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology required.




· Medical Coding Certificate preferred

Linen Workers

An established hospital in Philadelphia is seeking someone to work in their linen department to transport heavy tanks of used linen throughout the facility.

This is a very physical position that requires being able to push/pull a heavy weight throughout the shift. Employees are expected to make two rounds daily and accurately record their rounds and pick-ups. Seeking a candidate that is professional, reliable and efficient. Candidates are required to meet requirements specific to employment in a hospital.

The pay rate is $12/hr and the hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm and/or 1 pm to 9 pm as well as every other weekend. Please send all qualified resumes to

Environmental Service

You must drive and have reliable transportation – public transportation does not go to this location.

Shift is either 3pm to 11pm or overnight from 11pm to 7:30am

Pay rate is flexible depending on your experience.

This starts as a temporary position – once you prove your attendance and skills, so dependent on performance you will be hired permanently.

You will be responsible for all floor care projects within the hospital

This includes stripping and waxing floors

Floor care experience is required!!

You must have a leadership mentality and attitude and be able to instruct and motivate other workers

You will be responsible for professional communication and monitoring inventory and making sure all equipment is charged and jobs are completed
