Call Center Representative – Medicare

Medicare Team of a large corporate Insurance Company is looking for qualified candidates!

The department is open 7-Days per week. Candidates must be flexible to work between the hours of 8:00AM - 8:15PM Sunday - Saturday. Training will be Monday - Friday from 8:30AM - 4:45PM.

Job Details:

Call Center Customer Service, Inbound calls (no telesales)

Requires HS Diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, call center experience is preferred

Healthcare industry experience is preferred

Patient Access Representative/Call Center

The Patient Access Rep (Full-Time Rotating Schedule) performs outpatient and inpatient registration functions. Provides general
information to hospital users, patients and families. Ensures that patients meet financial
requirements. Provides excellent patient focused customer service. Communicates effectively to
service delivery areas to maximize patient flow and customer service.

Essential Functions:
Register patients with accurate demographic and insurance information. Ensure proper search for
patients via the Master Patient Index. Ensure cash collection of co-pays and deductibles and
coinsurance. Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the
Hospital. Perform other duties as assigned by Manager

Educational / Training Requirements:

High School Diploma required, some college preferred

Experience Requirements:

  • Must possess the ability to read, analyze and interpret clinical or business account information, financial and legal documents. Must have the ability to respond to sensitive inquiries or complaints from guests, regulatory agencies, staff and members of the business community.

  • Must possess the ability to write persuasive correspondence.

  • Must possess the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

  • Must have the ability to deal with concrete and abstract concepts and interpret verbal, nonverbal and written instructions.

This is a long term temporary position. Training will be in Woodcrest New Jersey (near Cherry Hill) and after training, Candidates will be able to work remotely from home.  Training location is not accessible by public transportation.

Patient Screener for Major Philadelphia Hospital

Performs COVID19 screening for staff members and patients entering the facility. Will be using a scanner and documenting symptoms, travel history, body temperature. Directs individuals to other locations on campus and provides customer service related support as needed. Requires excellent customer service skills, ability to enter information into a scanner (previous scanning experience is a plus) Must have a copy of High School Diploma/GED.

Patient Interview experience is a plus. Must have six months of previous customer service experience, excellent communication skills and professional presentation.

Candidates looking for work in a hospital setting must be able to pass all hospital clearances, including background/criminal/fingerprint/child abuse clearance checks, as well as all Occupational Health Clearances.

Diagnostic Medical Coder (will need to work ON SITE)

Location is @ Philadelphia Hospital 


Responsible for assigning ICD-9-CM diagnostic and procedural codes to patient accounts.




· Assign appropriate codes using International Classification of Disease system (ICD-9) and/or Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) for diagnosis, procedures and services.


· Responsible for correctly coding claims based on the services a patient receives in order to obtain reimbursement from insurance or government healthcare programs.


· Read and analyze patient records extracting precise information from documentation, test results and reports.


· Request diagnosis from physicians when not recorded on discharge and in cases where information is incomplete.


· Maintain confidentiality regarding patient care information and chart contents.


· Inform administrator of any incongruousness noted in the chart record.


· When appropriate clarify diagnosis, conditions and treatment information by working with the physician according to company policy and procedure.


· Process physician reports needed to code appropriately and accurately.




· High school diploma or equivalent required.


· Certificate or associate’s degree in medical coding or related field preferred.


· Two or more years’ of medical billing/collections/coding preferred.


· Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology required.




· Medical Coding Certificate preferred

Linen Workers

An established hospital in Philadelphia is seeking someone to work in their linen department to transport heavy tanks of used linen throughout the facility.

This is a very physical position that requires being able to push/pull a heavy weight throughout the shift. Employees are expected to make two rounds daily and accurately record their rounds and pick-ups. Seeking a candidate that is professional, reliable and efficient. Candidates are required to meet requirements specific to employment in a hospital.
